One Month Challenge, Day 9

This month, Zen Habits is taking up the One Month Challenge and I will be tracking all of my expenses and logging them throughout the month of February.

Day 9 of my One Month Challenge has passed (I'm on Guam, and we're ahead of most time zones). Here's how it turned out:

• Item: Groceries; Cost: $25.05; Essential? Yes
• Item: Wendy's; Cost: $5.36; Essential? No
  

Running total after 9 days is $1,193.96 ($1,067.81 essential - 89%).

I bought the Wendy's because I was on the road and starving. But it wasn't necessary because any time I buy fast food, it's because of poor planning. I've been doing better on this, but I need to plan better and eliminate more of the fast food.
