Happiness Tip: Do something good for yourself


Each day of your life, put something on your daily agenda: do something good for yourself.

It can be anything -- from something small, such as buying a book, to a real pampering, such as getting a massage, to something intensely meaningful, like visiting a loved one.

Just a few ideas:

  • eat something that gives you joy
  • watch your favorite program on TV
  • go to a movie
  • go for a stroll in the park
  • take a nap
  • spend some time reading
  • exercise
  • get a hug
